Terms Used In Texas Family Code 8.265
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
- Writ: A formal written command, issued from the court, requiring the performance of a specific act.
The obligor’s employer shall remit the amount withheld to the person or office named in the writ on each pay date and shall include with the remittance the date on which the withholding occurred.
