(a) The finance commission by rule shall adopt one or more standard forms for use by a residential mortgage loan originator sponsored by and conducting business for a licensed or registered residential mortgage loan company under this chapter in representing that an applicant for a residential mortgage loan is preapproved or has prequalified for the loan.
(b) The finance commission shall adopt rules requiring a residential mortgage loan originator licensed under Chapter 157 to use the forms adopted by the finance commission under Subsection (a).
