(a) The Texas Public Finance Authority owns the property formerly owned by, and is the successor to each lease or rental contract entered into by, the Texas Public Building Authority created by Chapter 700, Acts of the 68th Legislature, Regular Session, 1983.
(b) An obligation contracted or assumed by the Texas Public Building Authority with respect to a property or contract described by Subsection (a) is an obligation of the Texas Public Finance Authority.
