Terms Used In Texas Government Code 2054.103

  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.

Each state agency shall send a copy of its biennial operating plan and of any amendments to the plan, as approved by the Legislative Budget Board, to the governor and the state auditor not later than the 30th day after the date the Legislative Budget Board approves the plan or amendment, as applicable.
