Terms Used In Texas Government Code 411.1406
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
- Population: means the population shown by the most recent federal decennial census. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A county attorney in a county with a population of 3.3 million or more is entitled to obtain from the department criminal history record information maintained by the department that relates to:
(1) a matter falling within the authority of the county attorney as specified by § 45.201; or
(2) a person who is an applicant for employment by the county.
