- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The office shall routinely check appropriate federal databases, including databases referenced in 42 C.F.R. § 455.436, to ensure that a person who is excluded from participating in Medicaid or in the Medicare program by the federal government is not participating as a provider in Medicaid.
