As part of each inspection, survey, or investigation of an institution, including a nursing facility, general residential operation for children with an intellectual disability that is licensed by the Department of Family and Protective Services, or ICF-IID, as defined by § 531.002, Health and Safety Code, in which a child resides, the agency or the agency’s designee shall determine the extent to which the nursing facility, general residential operation, or ICF-IID is complying with the permanency planning requirements under this subchapter.
