- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The office of inspector general shall routinely check appropriate federal databases, including databases referenced in 42 C.F.R. § 455.436, to ensure that a person excluded by the federal government from participating in Medicaid or Medicare is not participating as a Medicaid provider.
