Terms Used In Texas Government Code 546.0214
- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
An entity that provides information to a child’s parent or guardian relating to permanency planning shall refrain from providing the child’s parent or guardian with inaccurate or misleading information regarding the risks of moving the child to another facility or community setting.
