- Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
Not later than the 90th day after the last day of the state fiscal year for which the commission distributes a grant under this subchapter, each grant recipient shall prepare and submit a report to the commission describing the effect of the grant money and matching funds in achieving the standard defined by the outcome measures in the plan submitted with a petition under § 547.0355.
