(a) An associate judge is entitled to the compensation set by the Commissioners Court of Duval County.
(b) The salary shall be paid from the county fund available for payments of officers’ salaries.
(c) This section does not apply to an associate judge appointed under Chapter 54A of this code or § 201.001, Family Code.
