A school district that receives a request to produce public information for inspection or publication or to produce copies of public information in response to a requestor who, within the preceding 180 days, has accepted but failed to pay written itemized statements of estimated charges from the district as provided under § 552.261(b) may require the requestor to pay the estimated charges for the request before the request is fulfilled.
