Terms Used In Texas Government Code 832.003
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A person terminates membership in the retirement system by:
(1) death;
(2) retirement based on service credited in the retirement system; or
(3) withdrawal of the person’s contributions to the retirement system.
