Terms Used In Texas Government Code Chapter 487 > Subchapter D - Outstanding Rural Scholar Recognition and Loan Program for Rural Health Care

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.

  • United States: includes a department, bureau, or other agency of the United States of America. See Texas Government Code 311.005
  • Year: means 12 consecutive months. See Texas Government Code 311.005
