(a) The cancer prevention and research interest and sinking fund is a dedicated account in the general revenue fund.
(b) The fund consists of:
(1) patent, royalty, and license fees and other income received under a contract entered into as provided by § 102.255; and
(2) interest earned on the investment of money in the fund.

- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
(c) The fund may be used only to pay for debt service on bonds issued as authorized by § 67, Article III, Texas Constitution, at a time and in a manner to be determined by the legislature in the General Appropriations Act.
