(a) In addition to the inspection required under § 247.023(a), the commission:
(1) shall inspect each assisted living facility at least every two years following the initial inspection required under § 247.023(a); and
(2) may inspect a facility at other reasonable times as necessary to assure compliance with this chapter.
(b) The commission shall establish an inspection checklist based on the minimum standards that describes the matters subject to inspection. The commission shall use the inspection checklist in conducting inspections under this section and § 247.023(a).
