- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A person may not administer a psychoactive medication to a committed person who refuses to take the medication voluntarily unless:
(1) the committed person is having a medication-related emergency; or
(2) the committed person is under an order issued under § 841.205 authorizing the administration of medication regardless of the committed person’s refusal.
