An industrial life insurance policy must provide that if a claim arises as the result of the death of the insured, the insurer shall settle the claim not later than two months after the date the insurer receives at the insurer’s home office:
(1) proof of death satisfactory to the insurer; and
(2) proof of the right of the claimant to the insurance proceeds.
