(a) The commissioner may employ an attorney, actuary, accountant, or other expert who is not a member of the commissioner’s staff and who is reasonably necessary to assist in analyzing a merger or acquisition of control proposed under § 823.154.
(b) The acquiring person shall pay all reasonable expenses incurred in connection with the employment of a person under this section.
