(a) The commissioner may notify the attorney general of a violation of this chapter, and the attorney general may apply to a district court in Travis County for leave to file suit in the nature of quo warranto or for injunctive relief or both.
(b) The attorney general may seek and the court may order:
(1) restitution for victims of an act declared to be unlawful under this chapter;
(2) assessment of a fine under this code; and
(3) recovery of reasonable attorney’s fees.
