(a) A person commits an offense if the person violates § 101.152, 101.153, 101.154, or 101.155. Each separate act of violation constitutes a separate offense.
(b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by:
(1) a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $500;
(2) confinement in jail for not more than 90 days; or
(3) both the fine and confinement.
