Terms Used In Texas Local Government Code 141.010
- General-law municipality: means a municipality designated by Chapter 5 as a Type A general-law municipality, Type B general-law municipality, or Type C general-law municipality. See Texas Local Government Code 1.005
To the extent consistent with Subchapter B of this chapter and Chapters 142 and 143, the governing body of a Type A or B general-law municipality may consider longevity and cost of living in setting the salary of a municipal employee.
