(a) The commissioners court may impose a fee on a subdivider of property under this subchapter for an inspection of the property to ensure compliance with the subdivision regulations adopted under this subchapter, § 16.343, Water Code, or other law.
(b) Fees collected under this section may be used only to fund inspections conducted under this section.
