Terms Used In Texas Local Government Code 62.003
- Municipality: means a general-law municipality, home-rule municipality, or special-law municipality. See Texas Local Government Code 1.005
The election shall be ordered, conducted, and canvassed in the same manner as is required for an election to incorporate the municipality, except that the mayor of the municipality shall perform all acts that would be performed by the county judge.
