Terms Used In Texas Local Government Code Chapter 159 - Financial Disclosure by County Officers and Employees
- Arrest: Taking physical custody of a person by lawful authority.
- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Comptroller: means the Comptroller of Public Accounts of the State of Texas. See Texas Tax Code 1.04
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
