Terms Used In Texas Local Government Code Chapter 271 > Subchapter Z - Miscellaneous Provisions
- Appraisal: A determination of property value.
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
- in writing: includes any representation of words, letters, or figures, whether by writing, printing, or other means. See Texas Government Code 312.011
