(a) The board may enter into a consent agreement as provided by this section rather than taking action against a violator of the rules of professional conduct adopted by the board.
(b) Repealed by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 704, Sec. 16, eff. September 1, 2005.

  • Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
  • Signed: includes any symbol executed or adopted by a person with present intention to authenticate a writing. See Texas Government Code 311.005

(c) A consent agreement must be:
(1) approved by the board; and
(2) signed by the executive director and the appraiser or appraiser trainee who is the subject of the complaint.
(d) An appraiser or appraiser trainee may be disciplined for failure to comply with a consent agreement.
