Terms Used In Texas Occupations Code Chapter 2025 > Subchapter B - Racetrack License Application Requirements

  • Arrest: Taking physical custody of a person by lawful authority.

  • Service of process: The service of writs or summonses to the appropriate party.
  • sworn: includes affirm or affirmed. See Texas Government Code 312.011
  • United States: includes a department, bureau, or other agency of the United States of America. See Texas Government Code 311.005
