Terms Used In Texas Special District Local Laws Code 21.104
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
To be eligible to be appointed as or to serve as a director, a person must be:
(1) at least 18 years of age;
(2) a qualified voter; and
(3) a resident of the county governed by the appointing commissioners court.
