If, before implementing § 452.202, the Texas Department of Human Services determines that a waiver or authorization from a federal agency is necessary for implementation, the Texas Department of Human Services shall request the waiver or authorization, and the department and an authority may delay implementing § 452.202 until the waiver or authorization is granted.
