In this subchapter:

(2) “Golf cart” has the meaning assigned by § 551.401.
(3) “Motor carrier” has the meaning assigned by § 643.001.
(4) “Neighborhood electric vehicle” has the meaning assigned by § 551.301.
(4-a) “Off-highway vehicle” has the meaning assigned by Section 551A.001.
(5) “Public highway” has the meaning assigned by § 502.001.
