(a) In this chapter, “unified carrier registration plan and agreement” means the federal unified carrier registration plan and agreement provided by 49 U.S.C. § 14504a.
(b) The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles may, to the fullest extent practicable, participate in the unified carrier registration plan and agreement.
