(a) A penalty of not less than $100 and not more than $1,000 for each violation is recoverable by any person against whom discrimination prohibited by § 121.104 is committed.
(b) A suit to collect a penalty under this section must be brought in the name of and for the benefit of the person aggrieved.

- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
(c) A person who recovers a penalty under this section is also entitled to reasonable attorney’s fees.
(d) The penalty under this section is in addition to a penalty under § 121.302.
