Terms Used In Texas Water Code 51.177
- Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
- Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
The boards of two or more districts may adopt resolutions to enter into a joint lease under the provisions of § 51.173 of this code. The joint lease shall specify clearly the respective rights and liabilities of the districts and shall be subject to all the provisions of Sections 51.173-176 of this code.
