Terms Used In Tennessee Code 34-5-104
- Benefits: means all moneys paid or payable by the United States through the veterans administration. See Tennessee Code 34-5-102
- United States: includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
- Veterans administration: means the veterans administration, its predecessors or successors. See Tennessee Code 34-5-102
Whenever, pursuant to any law of the United States or regulation of the veterans administration, it is necessary, prior to payment of benefits, that a guardian be appointed, the appointment may be made in the manner provided in §§ 34-5-106 – 34-5-110.
