Terms Used In Tennessee Code 66-28-106

  • Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
  • Person: includes a corporation, firm, company or association. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
  • written: includes printing, typewriting, engraving, lithography, and any other mode of representing words and letters. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
(1) Has actual knowledge of it; or
(2) Has been given written notice.
(b) All parties must give written notice to the last known or designated address contained in the lease agreement.
