Terms Used In Tennessee Code 68-112-103
- Assembly: means a gathering of five thousand (5,000) or more people that is conducted or can reasonably be expected to be conducted for eighteen (18) or more hours continuously, whether on public or private property. See Tennessee Code 68-112-102
- Department: means the department of health. See Tennessee Code 68-112-102
- Person: includes any individual, natural human being, partnership, corporation, firm, company, association, society, or group. See Tennessee Code 68-112-102
No person shall permit, maintain, promote, conduct, advertise, act as an entrepreneur, undertake, organize, manage, or sell or give tickets to an actual or reasonably anticipated assembly, unless a license to hold the assembly has first been obtained from the department.
