(1) A political subdivision may:
Terms Used In Utah Code 11-44-201
- Performance efficiency agreement: means an agreement between a political subdivision and a qualified performance efficiency service provider for evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of one or more performance efficiency measures. See Utah Code 11-44-102
- Performance efficiency program: means a program established by a political subdivision under this chapter to adopt a performance efficiency measure. See Utah Code 11-44-102
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
(1)(a) enter into a performance efficiency agreement;
(1)(b) develop and administer a performance efficiency program;
(1)(c) analyze energy consumption by the political subdivision;
(1)(d) designate a staff member who is responsible for a performance efficiency program; and
(1)(e) provide the governing body of the political subdivision with information regarding the performance efficiency program.
(2) The following entities may provide information, technical resources, and other assistance to a political subdivision acting under this chapter:
(2)(a) the Utah Geological Survey, created in Section 79-3-201;
(2)(b) the State Board of Education;
(2)(c) the Division of Purchasing and General Services, created in Section 63A-2-101; and
(2)(d) the Division of Facilities Construction and Management, created in Section 63A-5b-301.
