(1) The board shall hold at least one public meeting to consider and discuss a draft project area plan.
Terms Used In Utah Code 11-58-502
- Board: means the authority's governing body, created in Section
11-58-301 . See Utah Code 11-58-102 - Project area: means :(16)(a) the authority jurisdictional land, subject to Section
11-58-605 ; or(16)(b) land outside the authority jurisdictional land, whether consisting of a single contiguous area or multiple noncontiguous areas, described in a project area plan or draft project area plan, where the development project set forth in the project area plan or draft project area plan takes place or is proposed to take place. See Utah Code 11-58-102- Project area plan: means a written plan that, after its effective date, guides and controls the development within a project area. See Utah Code 11-58-102
(2) At least 10 days before holding a public meeting under Subsection (1), the board shall give notice of the public meeting:(2)(a) to each taxing entity;(2)(b) to a municipality in which the proposed project area is located or that is located within one-half mile of the proposed project area; and(2)(c) for the proposed project area, as a class A notice under Section 63G-30-102, for at least 10 days.(3) Following consideration and discussion of the draft project area plan, and any modification of the project area plan under Subsection 11-58-501(2)(d), the board may adopt the draft project area plan or modified draft project area plan as the project area plan.
