(1) As used in this section, “local government entity” means a county or municipality.
Terms Used In Utah Code 11-69-101
- Person: means :(24)(a) an individual;(24)(b) an association;(24)(c) an institution;(24)(d) a corporation;(24)(e) a company;(24)(f) a trust;(24)(g) a limited liability company;(24)(h) a partnership;(24)(i) a political subdivision;(24)(j) a government office, department, division, bureau, or other body of government; and(24)(k) any other organization or entity. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5(2) A local government entity may not:(2)(a) require a person to obtain a business license or permit from the local government entity to engage in a practice described in Subsection 58-11a-304(5); or(2)(b) prevent or limit a person’s ability to engage in a practice described in Subsection 58-11a-304(5) by requiring the person to engage in the practice at a specific location or at a particular type of facility or location.
