(1) operate without a registration issued under Section 13-53-103;

Terms Used In Utah Code 13-53-105

  • Participant: means an individual who:
         (3)(a) resides at a residential, vocational and life skills program facility;
         (3)(b) receives from the residential, vocational and life skills program:
              (3)(b)(i) vocational training; or
              (3)(b)(ii) life skills training; and
         (3)(c) does not receive monetary compensation from the residential, vocational and life skills program. See Utah Code 13-53-102
  • Person: means :
         (24)(a) an individual;
         (24)(b) an association;
         (24)(c) an institution;
         (24)(d) a corporation;
         (24)(e) a company;
         (24)(f) a trust;
         (24)(g) a limited liability company;
         (24)(h) a partnership;
         (24)(i) a political subdivision;
         (24)(j) a government office, department, division, bureau, or other body of government; and
         (24)(k) any other organization or entity. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
(2) utilize any behavioral intervention that is not peer-led or that uses the services of any professional or any person purporting to be a professional;
(3) accept a participant before providing to the participant the disclosure described in Section 13-53-106; or
(4) use physical force or permit the use of physical force.
