(1) No later than 60 days after each regular general election date, each county clerk shall submit a report to the lieutenant governor indicating:

Terms Used In Utah Code 20A-16-202

  • Election: means a regular general election, a municipal general election, a statewide special election, a local special election, a regular primary election, a municipal primary election, and a special district election. See Utah Code 20A-1-102
  • Regular general election: means the election held throughout the state on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of each even-numbered year for the purposes established in Section 20A-1-201. See Utah Code 20A-1-102
     (1)(a) the number of ballots sent to covered voters; and
     (1)(b) the number of ballots returned by covered voters that were counted.
(2) No later than 90 days after each regular general election date, the lieutenant governor shall submit a statewide report to the Election Assistance Commission that includes the information required by Subsection (1).
