Utah Code 26B-4-802. Applicability to volunteer health practitioners

This part applies to volunteer health practitioners who:
(1) are registered with a registration system that complies with Section 26B-4-804; and
Terms Used In Utah Code 26B-4-802
- Emergency: means :(2)(a) a state of emergency declared by:(2)(a)(i) the president of the United States;(2)(a)(ii) the governor in accordance with Title 53, Chapter 2a, Part 2, Disaster Response and Recovery Act; and(2)(a)(iii) the chief executive officer of a political subdivision in accordance with Title 53, Chapter 2a, Part 2, Disaster Response and Recovery Act, for a local emergency; or(2)(b) a public health emergency declared by:(2)(b)(i) the executive director through a public health order in accordance with this title; or(2)(b)(ii) a local health department for a location under the local health department's jurisdiction. - Entity: means a person other than an individual. See Utah Code 26B-4-801
(2) provide health or veterinary services in Utah for a host entity during an emergency.
