(1) The council is exempt from:
Terms Used In Utah Code 4-21-106
- Council: means the Utah Beef Council created in Section 4-21-103. See Utah Code 4-21-102
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- Utah Code: means the 1953 recodification of the Utah Code, as amended, unless the text expressly references a portion of the 1953 recodification of the Utah Code as it existed:(42)(a) on the day on which the 1953 recodification of the Utah Code was enacted; or(42)(b)(42)(b)(i) after the day described in Subsection (42)(a); and(42)(b)(ii) before the most recent amendment to the referenced portion of the 1953 recodification of the Utah Code. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5(1)(c) Title 63G, Chapter 6a, Utah Procurement Code, but the council shall adopt procedures to ensure that the council makes purchases:(1)(c)(i) in a manner that provides for fair competition between providers; and(1)(c)(ii) at competitive prices;(1)(d) Title 63J, Chapter 1, Budgetary Procedures Act; and(2) The council is subject to:(2)(c) Section 67-3-12;(2)(e) other Utah Code provisions not specifically exempted under Subsection 4-21-106(1); and(2)(f) audit by the state auditor pursuant to Title 67, Chapter 3, Auditor, and by the legislative auditor pursuant to Section 36-12-15.
