(1) At or before the November interim meeting each year, the department shall report to the Health and Human Services Interim Committee on:

- Cannabis: means the same as that term is defined in Section
26B-4-201 . See Utah Code 4-41a-102 - Department: means the Department of Agriculture and Food. See Utah Code 4-41a-102
- Independent cannabis testing laboratory: includes a laboratory that the department or a research university operates in accordance with Subsection
4-41a-201 (14). See Utah Code 4-41a-102 - Medical cannabis: means the same as that term is defined in Section
26B-4-201 . See Utah Code 4-41a-102
(1)(a) the number of applications and renewal applications that the department receives under this chapter;
(1)(b) the number of each type of cannabis production facility that the department licenses in each county;
(1)(c) the amount of cannabis that licensees grow;
(1)(d) the amount of cannabis that licensees manufacture into cannabis products;
(1)(e) the number of licenses the department revokes under this chapter;
(1)(f) the department’s operation of an independent cannabis testing laboratory under Section 4-41a-201 , including:
(1)(f)(i) the cannabis and cannabis products the department tested; and
(1)(f)(ii) the results of the tests the department performed;
(1)(g) the expenses incurred and revenues generated under this chapter; and
(1)(h) an analysis of product availability in medical cannabis pharmacies in consultation with the Department of Health and Human Services.
(2) The department may not include personally identifying information in the report described in this section.
(3) The department shall report to the working group described in Section 36-12-8.2 as requested by the working group.
