The department may make rules, in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, to:
(1) establish requirements for the training described in Section 4-46-402; and
Terms Used In Utah Code 4-46-403
- Department: means the Department of Agriculture and Food created in Chapter 2, Administration. See Utah Code 4-1-109
- Division: means the Division of Conservation created in Section 4-46-401. See Utah Code 4-46-102
- State conservation efforts: includes :(11)(a)(i) efforts to optimize and preserve the uses of land for the benefit of the state's agricultural industry and natural resources; and(11)(a)(ii) conservation of working landscapes that if conserved, preserves the state's agricultural industry and natural resources, such as working agricultural land. See Utah Code 4-46-102(2) establish the procedures the division shall follow in coordinating state conservation efforts.
