Terms Used In Utah Code 4-4a-105
- Farm: means the land, buildings, support facilities, and other equipment that are wholly or partially used for the commercial production of animals or animal products used for food. See Utah Code 4-4a-102
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
This chapter does not apply to the production of shell eggs in the state by a farm with fewer than 3,000 egg-laying hens.
