Terms Used In Utah Code 53-5-707.5

  • Bureau: means the Bureau of Criminal Identification created in Section 53-10-201 within the Department of Public Safety. See Utah Code 53-5-702
  • Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
     (1)(a) An applicant for a provisional concealed firearm permit, as described in Section 53-5-704.5, shall pay a fee of $25 at the time of filing an application.
     (1)(b) A nonresident applicant shall pay an additional $10 for the additional cost of processing a nonresident application.
(2) The replacement fee for the permit is $10.
(3) Fees collected under this section shall be remitted to the Concealed Weapons Account, as described in Subsection 53-5-707(5).

     (4)(a) The bureau may collect any fees charged by an outside agency for additional services required by statute as a prerequisite for issuance of a permit.
     (4)(b) The bureau shall promptly forward any fees collected under Subsection (4)(a) to the appropriate agency.
