(1) Beginning with the 2013-14 school year and subject to Subsection (2), the University of Utah School of Medicine may increase the number of students admitted by 40 students for a total of 122 students admitted annually.
Terms Used In Utah Code 53B-17-901
- Board: means the Utah Board of Higher Education described in Section 53B-1-402. See Utah Code 53B-1-101.5
(2) Beginning with the 2013-14 school year, no fewer than 82% of the students admitted annually shall:
(2)(a) meet the qualifications of a resident student for the purpose of tuition in accordance with:
(2)(a)(i) Section 53B-8-102;
(2)(a)(ii) board policy on determining resident status; and
(2)(a)(iii) University of Utah policy on determining resident status;
(2)(b) have graduated from a public or private college or university located in Utah; or
(2)(c) have graduated from a public or private high school located in Utah.
