Grounds for division action regarding the following are under Section
(1) refusing to issue a license to an applicant or refusing to renew the license of a licensee;

- Administrative penalty: means a monetary fine imposed by the division for acts or omissions determined to constitute unprofessional or unlawful conduct, as a result of an adjudicative proceeding conducted in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 4, Administrative Procedures Act. See Utah Code 58-71-102
- Division: means the Division of Professional Licensing created in Section
58-1-103 . See Utah Code 58-1-102 - Licensee: includes any holder of a license, certificate, registration, permit, student card, or apprentice card authorized under this title. See Utah Code 58-1-102
- Probation: A sentencing alternative to imprisonment in which the court releases convicted defendants under supervision as long as certain conditions are observed.
(2) revoking, suspending, restricting, or placing on probation the license of a licensee;
(3) assessing an administrative penalty; and
(4) issuing a public or private reprimand to a licensee or issuing a cease and desist order.
